Yes! The healing takes about 4 weeks with three main stages: dark and bold, flaking and healing over (resulting in lighter brows), then color returning and landing at the goal color. What to expect will be discussed in detail during your consultation.

I sure do! As long as they are within our desired shape (and I always try to use the brows' natural growth patterns if possible), your natural hairs can stay put! But anything outside the desired shape will be removed (just like you're used to with plucking and/or waxing).

Nano Brows are a semi-permanent make-up technique for brows. Nano uses a machine and needle cartridge to create natural looking hair-strokes with pigment implanted in the top layer of skin.

These are all semi-permanent make-up techniques for brows, but each one uses a different technique to create a different brow style. Nano Brows and Microblading both create hair-strokes, but Nano Brows use a machine and needle cartridge while Microblading uses a manual hand tool. Powder Brows use a machine and needle cartridge to create a powdery, make-up look. Combo Brows combine both a hair-stroke look and powdery look into one.

Nano Brows typically last 12-18 months, before needing a color boost. This does depend on a client's skin and lifestyle, but Nano Brows last just as long as any other semi-permanent brow technique.

The awesome thing about Nano Brows is that they are suitable for any skin type! The awesome thing about Nano Brows is that they are suitable for any skin type!

To figure out what shape to do for your brows, we will map them using a string method (to make symmetrical measurements), your natural brow, bone structure, and preference. No freehand brows here!

The 6-8 weeks touchup (included with all first-time appointments) is to perfect the brows after the initial session. Once you have done your initial brow session and the touchup 6-8 weeks later, you will not need another touch-up for approximately 12-18 months.

The brows take 4 weeks to heal completely, but it is only the first 7-10 days during which you have to avoid certain things (sun exposure, excessive sweating, scratching the brows…etc.).

You can book a consult or send me pictures of your brows, and we can go from there! I do work on other artists work as long as the skin is in good condition, the pigment is not overly saturated, and we can accomplish what the client desires.

I recommend Nano Brows over Microblading, because Nano Brows are much more gentle on the skin, heal more quickly, and they are perfect for any skin type. While I still love Microblading as a technique, it is not as versatile and is limiting artistically.

My clients typically need a color boost (touch-up) every 12-18 months after their first appointments.

Nano Brows can be an irritating feeling, but the pain amount is very minimal. I always use a numbing cream to help create a comfortable procedure!
